The Hyatt Regency Hotel offers tournament participants special room rates, single or double occupancy: $147 per night–Free Wi-Fi included (The normal rate is $207-$399 per room.)

Because of the close proximity to New York City this hotel is very often at full capacity. We have a limited amount of rooms available to us, so please be sure to make your reservations ASAP. Once our room block is filled, requests for rooms will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. Be sure to mention the Backgammon Tournament when making your reservations.

Players should use Newark Liberty International Airport.

DIRECTIONS FROM NEWARK LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT:  Take the AirTrain to Newark Airport Station.  Buy a NJ Transit ticket from Newark Airport Station to Newark Penn Station (1 stop, 6 min.)  Change there for the NJ PATH Rail System.  Take the PATH train 4 stops to Exchange Place and the Hyatt Hotel is right there.

Parking at the Hyatt for backgammon attendees: Valet parking reduced to $28 for day and overnight guests, during event dates, with in and out privileges. The hotel is giving 25% off food and beverage both in the restaurant and room service. Coffee will be $1.00 from the restaurant. You must mention that you are with the backgammon group to have the discount applied.
